Privacy Policy

Introduction
Trilo ("we," "us," or "our") operates the website trilo.chat (the "Site") and the accompanying software-as-a-service platform that enables businesses to automate their internal workflows and operations (the "Service"). We are committed to protecting your privacy and handling your information in a transparent manner. By accessing the Site or using the Service, you agree to this Privacy Policy and to our Terms of Use.
Our Technology
The Service is a communication platform designed to help teams collaborate and automate workflows. It connects to the tools you already use—such as CRMs, ticketing systems, and internal databases—to execute business processes. All processing occurs within your organization's secure environment or within dedicated, logically isolated infrastructure managed by Trilo. We only process customer data to perform the tasks you direct and to maintain or improve core functionality. We do not use customer data to train AI models, create marketing profiles, or for any purpose that is unrelated to delivering the Service that you request.
Information We Collect
Cookies and similar technologies
We use session and persistent cookies to:
- remember login sessions;
- understand feature usage;
- track page views and time on page;
- save interface preferences.
You can disable cookies in your browser, but some features may not function.
How We Collect Information
- Account registration – When you create an account, we ask for personal information such as your name and email address.
- Automated tracking – Our servers automatically log non-personal data when you interact with the Site or Service.
- Support interaction – If you contact us, we collect the information you voluntarily provide.
How We Use Information
No sale or secondary use. We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information, and we do not use customer data for AI model training or for marketing purposes unrelated to your own account.
Sharing Information
We share personal information only:
- With processors that help us operate (e.g., cloud hosting, email providers) under confidentiality agreements;
- To comply with law or protect rights, property, or safety;
- In a merger or acquisition, where your information would be transferred under the same privacy commitments.
Non-personal data may be aggregated and shared for analytics and trend reporting.
AI Services & Third-Party Data Sharing
Trilo includes AI coworker features that use third-party artificial intelligence services to generate responses. When you use AI coworker features, the following data may be sent to third-party AI providers:
- Message content – The text of messages you send in conversations with AI coworkers, including conversation history within the thread.
- Attached files – Images, documents, and other files you attach in AI coworker conversations.
- Workspace context – Contextual information such as project names and knowledge base entries that help AI coworkers provide relevant responses.
This data is processed by third-party AI providers, including Anthropic, Google, and OpenAI, accessed through OpenRouter (an AI model routing service). These providers process your data solely to generate AI coworker responses and are bound by their respective data processing agreements.
Your data is not used to train AI models. We only send data to AI providers to fulfill the specific task of generating a response to your message.
Before using the application, you will be asked to provide explicit consent to this data sharing. AI coworker features are a core part of the Trilo experience and require this consent to function.
Security
We employ industry-standard safeguards (encryption in transit, firewalls, access controls). No system is 100% secure; you are responsible for keeping your password confidential.
Your Rights
- Email preferences – Click "unsubscribe" in any marketing email or adjust settings under Account → Notifications.
- Automated tracking – Contact us to request a copy of, or deletion of, your personal data (subject to legal retention requirements).
- Support interaction – Manage them via your browser settings.
Children's Privacy
The Site and Service are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe we have done so, contact us and we will delete the data.
Third-Party Links
Our Site may link to external sites. We are not responsible for their privacy practices—review those policies independently.
Changes to This Policy
Material changes will be announced by email to account holders or by a notice on the Site at least 30 days before they take effect. Non-material updates are effective immediately when posted.
