Workplace Policy
Remote-first. Async-first. Results-first.
How we work
Trilo is a fully remote company. We have no offices and no plans to open one. Our team works across time zones, and we designed our culture around asynchronous communication from day one.
We believe the best work happens when people have uninterrupted time to think and build. Meetings are rare and always optional. Written communication is the default. Everything important lives in shared docs and our own workspace.
We use Trilo internally to manage every aspect of the company — project planning, team communication, documentation, task tracking, and workflow automation. If something is frustrating in the product, we feel it first.
Our values
Async by default
We write things down instead of scheduling meetings. Long-form messages, docs, and recorded walkthroughs keep everyone in the loop regardless of time zone.
Ship over polish
We value working software over slide decks. Small, frequent releases beat big reveals. If it works and it's correct, ship it.
Own the outcome
Everyone has full context on what they're building and why. We trust each other to make decisions without waiting for approval chains.
Build what we use
Trilo is our own workspace. We use it every day to manage tasks, communicate, write docs, and run workflows. Dogfooding keeps us honest.
Tools and stack
We build with Next.js, React, Bun, Elysia, Drizzle ORM, and Supabase. Our infrastructure runs on Vercel and Supabase Cloud. We deploy continuously — multiple times a day when things are moving fast.
For development, we use Claude Code, GitHub, and linear workflows that let us go from idea to production without bureaucracy. Everyone on the team can deploy.
Working with us
We are a small team and not always actively hiring, but we are always open to hearing from people who are excited about what we are building. If you care about productivity software, AI agents, or developer tools, we would love to talk.
